In collaboration with the Dutch label REE PROJECTS and the German label OPAAK, we are happy to announce our joint pop – up shop in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam public will be offered the unique opportunity of buying some of the brands’ exclusive pieces. ‘RETAIL THERAPY’ will take place at Huidenstraat 13, in the ‘negen straatjes’ from October 9th to October 14th 2018.
Celebrating luxury, craftsmanship and minimalism, the three fashion labels personify contemporary fashion led by the power of ideas and individuality.
The rainwear label BYBROWN continues to reinvent the idea of outdoor protection, using technology, sustainability and fashion as its guiding force. Founded by the British designer Melanie Brown, the label has tailoring at its creative heart. Strong constructed forms give the clothes a minimalistic attitude and unexpected details add a playful element. Inspired by the nature of water, BYBROWN dedicates each collection to the movement, life and power of water.
REE PROJECTS creates ‘minimal luxury bags without luxury markup’. The Dutch designer, Desiree Kleinen explores the balance between form, function and construction. She redefines luxury in a sustainable way by combing understated aesthetics with outstanding craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture, the expression ‘Hara no Mushi ‘ translating as ‘Sudden feeling of happiness’ forms the basis for her vision.
OPAAK is a contemporary, sensual, bodywear label which beliefs in bringing the body and the soul together in a sexual relationship - ‘Confidence is beautiful in combination with sensitivity. OPAAK is a notion, an idea. It is not transparent, and it is also not clueless.’ With elegant – sporty silhouettes, Opaak extends the invitation to combine underwear as outerwear. The label’s clean design is finished with a selection of functional trims and materials that create an overall contemporary feeling.
